Miserable & unhelpful staff. The store needs to get rid of half the cards & have a few self service postal machines like the WHS in city centre to cut down the queues, since half the post offices in the area have been shut down
Always a massive queue, and all items way too expensive. I'd give it a miss.
Been using this Post Office for over 40 years, have always had excellent service. Deducting 1 star due to increased queuing caused by closure of HSBC Maghull branch and poor parking facilities between 9:00-16:30. Neither reason is technically the fault of this Post Office but both are extremely frustrating!
Whenever I go into this post office the staff tend to be very unfriendly and overall make the experience not a particularly pleasant one. This is a consistent experience to varying degrees. I think some customer service trading may be required. They perform the function well in their favour, but there is a lack of understanding how your experience as a customer can be anexcellent or unpleasant experience.
Ladies are ok, but why oh why does the postmaster insist on being such a misery? I think his attitude rubs off on them a little ... sadly. He even complained that "there's nothing in it for me" when I tried to leave prepaid post there. Obviously not got the customer service gene. Since then ive been to Singh News on Moss Lane and I get treated like royalty every time. Rule Britannia, eh?
